About MyFlatzTM

MyFlatz was developed to provide artists (called ‘Cardists’) the opportunity to display their work in collectable trading cards (called Flatz). They are formatted and available both online and in the real world. Cardists submitting their artwork for Flatz can be anyone. However it is likely that those purchasing the Flatz and playing games with them will be kids primarily age 6-13.

What ls COPPA?

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act is a United States federal law that regulates the online collection, use and disclosure of personal information from children under the age of 13. The law also sets out the acceptable ways of determining consent and providing transparency online.

Our approach to gaining parental consent via email satisfies COPPA guidelines. MyFlatz reaches out to parents and caregivers to engage adults in learning about MyFlatz.com.
